Nature Bird Walk
Lilongwe Wildlife Centre
Last Sunday of every month
Location may vary, check the website and join the email list for special announcements.

The Wildlife Centre would like to invite all those interested in birds to join Issac and his team on his monthly bird walk through the Wilderness Zone of the Centre.
Of the 619 bird species found within Malawi, 256 are thought to exist at the Nature Sanctuary. Of the 256 species, our staff have spotted 56; we therefore have some way to go before we reach our total.
We would like to establish a Nature Sanctuary Birding Group for all those interested. Those on the e-mail group will be kept informed of all monthly events and sightings and potential new spotted species so that individuals can keep their checklists updated. Those wishing to be included in the group can e-mail me back or let Issac and his team know on this month's walk. Full species cards for Malawi will be available this month to start people off on their personal lists.
Those species spotted to date include:
Black Crowned Heron
Fork Tailed Drongo
Hamerkop

African Black Duck
